Garden City Hospital is a Veteran friendly community medical facility, and we were elated to participate in the Dearborn Memorial Day Parade for the first time in the parade’s 96-year history!
It was an honor to walk through the parade among thousands of diverse spectators from various communities throughout southeast Michigan and beyond, in honor of our country’s fallen service men and women. Our leadership engaged the crowd as they walked alongside two “Garden City Hospital Supports our Veterans” branded vehicles. In addition to participating in the parade, GCH also posted a pop-up “Health Information Center” next to the War memorial where spectators congregated during the military ceremony. Our hospital clinical staff was on hand with heart and blood pressure monitors to provide Veterans and their families with complimentary medical stats, in addition to other vital health information. Garden City Hospital is proud to support the largest Veterans Day Parade in the state of Michigan, raise awareness and provide healthcare services to those who have honorably served our country.
