About the Program
Residency Overview
Garden City Hospital’s residency program in Family Medicine provides flexibility by allowing the resident to focus their rotations based on their individual interests. Features of the program include:
- Continuity clinic within an established suburban Family Medicine practice.
- Experience with office procedures, OMT, and the business side of running a practice.
- Weekly Family Medicine conferences with faculty participation at GCH.
- Affiliated with Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Statewide Campus System, with monthly Education Days and workshops.
- Opportunities for those residents interested in pursuing Certificates of Additional Qualification to work with faculty in Geriatric Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Palliative Care.
The Family Medicine Residency at Garden City Hospital is Fully Accredited by the ACGME.
