On March 10, 1947, Dr. Oryliss Brooker, Dr. Robert Gardner, Dr. Albert Kull, Dr. Robert Ogden, Dr. Wallace Willman, Dr. Samuel Wotring had a vision of what healthcare for women could be and established the Garden City Maternity Hospital. From there, the vision of caring for women expanded to include the indigent, sick and injured people of their community. So, in 1951, Garden City Maternity Hospital became Garden City Hospital, Osteopathic to reflect their expanding commitment to the community. That commitment continued through the years and was renewed with the purchase by Prime Healthcare in 2014. Like the forward-thinking physicians before, Prime Healthcare is physician-led, by Dr. Prem Reddy with a vision to offer top quality healthcare at a value to its patients. As Garden City Hospital continues to grow and change, we remain dedicated to our investment in exceptional staff and quality and safety initiatives.
